Not many words are needed for this spectacular morning on Earth. Just look, and click to enlarge – the sun shown at an angle through the delicate mounds of snow, and in several photos, captured the exquisite singular snowflakes themselves…

This next is definitely a photo to enlarge – and the next two after this — please do, I was amazed how the snowflakes were revealed, glowing!

A lilac branch, just outside the door (click to enlarge!)

And the early cherry blossoms, weighed down beneath the snow.

Next I stepped underneath the chokecherry tree – very carefully!

…and uncovered some violets

Heading back inside, fixed a steaming cup of Tulsi sweet rose tea… smiling at the amazing, magical details of life, when you just take a little time to look …. closely.

perfect for a snowy day… and gorgeosity all around you… x
Yes, gorgeosity…fantastical-ness… it’s almost melted, now!
Soooooooooo Amazing, I Love the Snowflakes!
A similar thing happened to me maybe a month or so ago—-I didn’t take pictures, I guess I felt it wasn’t a beautiful setting that night, or I was tired (both probably!) but I couldn’t stop gazing out the front window at the snow that had gathered, and as I did, intermittently separate individual snowflakes would glisten and “shine out” at me! It was beautiful! Mare
Thank you Mare, so glad you stopped by my blog and dove into the photos to SEE all of the snowflakes! I truly was amazed how they showed up in the photos. the different shapes and sizes. The snow was sooo fluffy and the light just right. It’s incredible what we see when we take the time to really look, like you did that night. Blessings!
