It Feels Like Chilies in Adobo

It Feels like Chilies in Adobo

the birds came walking
birds came walking
birds came walking over
the drift of dried grasses into fence

No where to go but up
they whistled to each other
and it sounded like a choir
tuning up in heaven

from the look of things
they left and aren’t coming back
there’s worms dancing in broad daylight
and I can’t remember
when it’s been so quiet

…listen

our hearts beat rose and tremulous
outside our bodies
we face up to the Music
and it feels like chilies in adobo
all over inside

we sit on the ground at dawn and look up.
feeling so gentle
we’ve lost the separation
we are a drift of autumn grapes beginning to ignite
we are rain drops ascending into the trunk of the tree
watching in awe for the leaves are falling
created by Love

nothing can stop them

  1. Beautiful one there.

When I get to the sea shore,
I thought I was at the heavenly shore,
When I heard classicals from the flutings of birds,
When I heard solos from the orchestral of the nightingales’,
    singing and singing….
I found the birds nest empty of grains
    But they sing, expecting rain,
    Awaiting the sun for harvesting….
